"TeleVISTA"
– DP/Rx’s new Internet PBM System Product Release
Agoura Hills,
California, March 3, 2001. Ira Chabrowe, DP/Rx Vice President of Product
Development, announced today the release of DP/Rx’s newest Internet
product: TeleVISTA Internet Module scheduled for delivery in the
3rd quarter of 2001. This newest product is a major leap forward in PBM
services by providing comprehensive and direct online access to Claims
information and analysis. TeleVISTA is website product connected directly
to DP/Rx’s workhorse TeleCLAIM Pharmacy Benefits Management
system, first released in 1988.
TeleVISTA
efficiently delivers PBM information/reports to all authorized users with
any Windows’ Browser facilities located at their office or home. This
new DP/Rx product is specifically designed to provide today’s current
pharmacy claims data for Executives, Medical Professionals and Pharmacy
Administrators of PBM programs for real-time PBM management and
surveillance.
Mr. Chabrowe
describes the product as one that has been "tailored to the desires
of PBM users that have expressed great interest in ‘drill down’
technology for its targeted and precise access to specific entities and
activities that call for close tracking."
"This
software combines the best features of standard management and pro-forma
financial reporting with the drill-down targeting of an entity performance
analysis where real-time inspection is critical."
"The User
can look at the performance of one Group, one patient, one drug or a group
of drugs, etc on his Internet browser within a few seconds of connecting
to the Website at any time of the day or night."
"Our clients
have told us that they need day-by-day oversight of their Benefit Plans in
addition to the regular monthly global reporting already provided by TeleCLAIM.
They want to track specific problem solutions on a daily basis to
determine that their fine adjustments to their plan designs are having the
desired effect."
The user is
provided a list of standard programs on entry into TeleVISTA
website. The user, then, clicks the selected report and the next screen
prompts the user for entry of the parameters required for the report
selected (e.g. – Patient Name). Other parameters for entry could be the
days or months desired if different than the default values provided. Some
of the reports will be comparative with earlier time periods. In these
cases, parameter entries may be required for other than ordinary
comparisons (e.g. - 4th Quarter 2000 to 4th Quarter
1999).
DP/Rx will
install this product on a DP/Rx-controlled website that is connected to
the TeleCLAIM system at the Client location. Training of
operational personnel will be provided in the California offices in
advance of installation. Demonstrations of the Beta version are scheduled
for June 2001 at the DP/Rx website located in California.
TeleVISTA
will be made available with the TeleCLAIM system on a simple
maintenance fee-licensing basis. For further information contact John
Piriano.
