  • What is TeleClaim++
    TeleClaim++ is a claims processing system that accepts pharmacy claims in NCPDP version 3.2 and 5.1 format
 
  • What is the Difference between TeleClaim and TeleClaim++? 
    TeleClaim is the original pharmacy claims processing software of DpRx Corporation that is in operation for over 15 years and is used by various PBM. TeleClaim++ is the latest version of this claims processing software completely re-written to benefit the latest technology.
 
  • Is TeleClaim++ HIPAA Compliant?
    Yes. TeleClaim++ was designed to accomodate NCPDP 3.2 and Ncpdp 5.1 Telecommunications standard. HIPAA is using NCPDP 5.1 standard.
 
  • How About the HIPAA Payments?
    Yes. TeleClaim++ is also HIPAA 835 Payment Advice Enabled. HIPAA 835 is the standard for sending Payments of Claims to Providers
 
  • What hardware platform is supported under TeleClaim++?
    Primarily, Intel based platform is supported. Or any platform supported by LAMP (Linux, Apache,  Mysql, PHP) and libc6.
 
  • What Framework is used to run TeleClaim++?
     LAMP. Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP. These are all open-source software that is freely available on the internet.
  
  • Is there a recommended Linux Distribution Package?
     We prefer to use Debian Linux Distro. But other Linux Distributor will also work. (Redhat, Suse, etc)
 
  • What is the underlying technolgy used in TeleClaim++?
     The maintenance and management modules are written in PHP and can be access using any web browser. The core module, the processor (or adjudication module) is completely written in GNU C/C++.
 
  • What communication standard is used to communicate between the pharmacy, network switch (NDC, ENVOY) and TeleClaim++?
    TCPIP. This is the communication standard used on the internet.
 
  • Is there a Windows Version of TeleClaim++?
    No. TeleClaim++ was designed with efficiency and security in mind. Windows Servers are not in par with Unix and Linux when it comes to security and efficiency. Not to mention that there are thousands of viruses in windows environment.
 
  • Is there an Accounting System for TeleClaim++?
    Instead of creating a new accounting system, we decided to create module that can integrate into Quickbooks Accounting System. So if your company is already using Quickbooks, TeleClaim++ is ready to send invoicing and payment to your Quickbooks Software.
